Grades 4–8. The Individual Student Kit, designed for students working in pairs, this set provides everything needed for the hands-on exploration of a large owl pellet. With the provided tools, students carefully dissect the pellet to separate the bones and fur. Using the large, double-sided dissection mat, they then sort and classify the bones to identify the owl's prey. 20 minutes class time needed.
