Forensic Chemistry of Fuming Fingerprints (10559) In Stock Now

Students will learn about the types of fingerprints, as well as the strengths and weaknesses of various fingerprinting techniques. Students lift latent fingerprints using the iodine and cyanoacrylate fuming techniques employed by forensic scientists. They then learn how to analyze and identify those fingerprints through various distinguishing characteristics.

Materials are sufficient for a class of 30 working in pairs or small groups.
