Cartesian Divers (10543) In Stock Now

Great for small groups or for students who are learning from home!

Grades 6–12. The pressure is on! Students hone their engineering and critical thinking skills by working to find creative ways to solve a design challenge. First, students build a basic Cartesian diver-in-a-bottle prototype. Then during the design challenge, they are encouraged to brainstorm ways to modify the Cartesian diver to increase speed, specify order of descent of multiple divers, or retrieve a sunken object. Materials support a single student or a small group of students. Includes instructions.
